POSITION OVERVIEW

Heritage Vet Partners is looking for a highly qualified individual interested in pursuing a career with a company experiencing tremendous growth. As an Account Manager based out of Oshkosh, WI, you will work directly with our independent veterinarians, customers, and operations team to build relationships and coordinate business needs.  

Working strategically with independent veterinarians, the Account Manager is expected to provide exceptional customer service to producers to accurately manage sales and operational needs. This position will require the ability to understand and adapt to the changing needs of our producers and veterinarians through proactive communicationaccurate record-keeping, and the willingness to stay informed.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to Independent Veterinarians to build relationships with producers in their geographical area. 
  • Understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities. 
  • Positive customer service through email, phone, and direct mail to provide up-to-date information to customers, including product availability, alternatives, and account updates. 
  • Accurately input and maintain customer transactions through an ERP system, such as sales orders, invoices, quotes, and returns. 
  • Educate customers on products, specials, and rebate options 
  • Stay up to date on new products, offers, and other service-related information.  
  • Utilize great attention to detail in all aspects of the daily workload. 
  • Assist with additional projects within the operations team, as needed, to support a growing community of Veterinary Clinics and Independent Veterinarians.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Distinguished organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to confidently answer phones with a positive attitude and handle difficult situations with integrity. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word 
  • Solve problems by 
  • 2 - 4 years of post-high school education in a business, sales, or related field and/or 2 years of experience in an animal health/production agricultural background 
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required 
  • Experience and knowledge of animal health products and management is beneficial. 
  • Hours of employment: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday 
  • This position is based out of our Oshkosh, WI location
