**Job Title: Veterinary Technician**

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our patients. In this role, you will assist veterinarians with clinical procedures and ensure that our animal patients are provided with the best possible care in a supportive and caring environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Collect samples, perform laboratory tests, and document results for diagnostic purposes.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions and assist in post-operative care.
- Educate pet owners on animal health and wellness, including nutrition, exercise, and preventative care.
- Maintain medical records using electronic systems and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of examination rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
- Provide compassionate care and handling of animals, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

**Qualifications:**

- Associate degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is preferred.
- Proven experience in a clinical veterinary setting is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques, and clinical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
